Below are some ideas for routes that can either be split into two separate shorter circular walks or can be done as a reduced-length circular.

NB. The info for how to split the walk is only listed here at the moment (not within the walk) so you'll want to take a printout/screenshot of this page as a reminder of which directions to cut between. It's also worth having a look at this info alongside the map of the normal route in the app before setting out.

    Tintagel loop (2.7 miles): Start from the beginning and after direction 17, turn right into the gulley and follow it to direction 25.

    Rocky Valley loop (1.4 miles): Follow the footpath towards the beach to join the route at direction 17 and turn right onto the coast path to follow the rest of the route to direction 25. Parking: Bossiney.

    Penzance loop (2.5 miles): start from the beginning but shortcut along Alexandra Road from the Promenade at the roundabout (just before direction 6) to reach direction 18.

    Newlyn loop (1.8 miles): start the walk from direction 6 and when you reach direction 18, turn right down Alexandra Road to end the walk. Parking: either on the Promenade near the roundabout or the Wherrytown car park opposite Lidl.

    Botallack and Levant loop (3.7 miles): turn right out of the Count House car park to join the route at direction 13 then follow the route to direction 32, departing the route here by turning right to return to the car park. Parking: Count House car park at Botallack Mine.

    Millendreath loop (3.7 miles): start from direction 14 and when you reach direction 19, stay on the lane to reach a junction signposted to Murrayton. Turn right here to shortcut to direction 9. Parking: Millendreath car park.
