My partner and I have just completed our first mystery walk; Falmouth. I have to say, it was fantastic fun for two middle aged people who live in Falmouth.
I've learnt little snippets today about my adopted home town, and my partner has remembered things he'd forgotten about the town he's lived his whole life. We've exercised our brains whilst exercising our legs and you've encouraged us to spend a valuable three hours together, which, with the busy lives we have, has been a welcome break.
This was the first mystery walk we did, but it definitely won’t be the last! The puzzles were varied in type & difficulty - it’s definitely helpful to do this with at least one other person, so that you bounce ideas off each other. Found out lots of interesting facts about Falmouth that I didn’t know too 🙂. A brilliant, very entertaining way to spend an afternoon 😎
This is my second Mystery Walk, with a third pending, and my recommendation comes with the highest score. The iwalkcornwall team have created another beauty in this new app and it is a perfect way to explore our unique coastal towns which are full of character and history.
Another 3 hours of fun as we disentangled the mystery of the buccaneers’ bounty. Clues that worked – or which we could solve with a little help – and a great walk around the town. Conversation, laughter and plenty of cafes made it a really great social event too.
