The route is quite flat. There a few steps to reach one of the clues.
This is our third mystery walk and it was as intriguing and thrilling as Porthleven and Falmouth yet totally different storylines. I thought I knew these towns well but the mystery walk took me to colourful fascinating back streets that I would not have discovered otherwise.
I've completed 8 so far and can highly recommend all of them; they are all of a similar high standard. The whole thing is contained within an entertaining fictional narrative. Today's concerned a pasty making competition. Depending on your speed, you're looking at about 3 hours to complete, but I stop for lunch at about half way (there is a % counter top right of the screen to check on progress). Or you can do it over a couple of days if you want.
This was the 2nd mystery walk we did, & we really enjoyed this one too! Didn’t know much about Looe really, although we’d visited before, so we learnt lots of interesting stuff! Different types of puzzles from the previous one, so no need to worry that they might be too similar. Do take time to read the ‘before you go’ notes - we found a notebook & pen very handy! Can’t wait to do the next one 😃
We really enjoyed this Mystery and had a lovely day finding our way around Looe. We thought we knew the town but it took us to some hidden-away areas we didn't know about with some lovely buildings, shops and cafes. What's not to like: 3 hours of fun, conversation and companionship; the smell of the sea, a seal, a tour of the town and the reward of a pasty (our treat) as a reward. A must!
